Member Alert: Phishing Scam It has come to our attention that both members and non members of Neches FCU have received emails, such as the example below, asking for members to run a 'zip' file that is attached with the message.
This activity is called "Phishing." Phishers hijack brand names of credit unions, e-retailers and credit card companies to convince recipients to respond by providing financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames, passwords and social security numbers. Please do not reply to this email or open the attachment inside.
