Congratulations to the 2008 Scholarship Recipients
This years Seniors are Kymberli Barrett from Clifton J. Ozen Magnet High School, Spencer LeBlanc from Nederland High School, and Lindsey Stephens from Port Neches-Groves High School.
Kymberli Barrett attended Clifton J. Ozen Magnet High School where she was involved in the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Varsity Soccer and maintained a GPA of 3.918. Kymberli is an avid volunteer and was very active in many community organizations and events. Kymberli has been accepted into Prairie View A&M University where she plans to major in Architecture.
Spencer LeBlanc attended Nederland High School where she was involved in Student Council, Terrific Nederland Teens, Renaissance Club, Business Professionals of America, Band, Choir, Cheerleading and maintained a GPA of 3.7308. Spencer was on the Honor roll through out her high school career and was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Spencer plans to attend Lamar University and major in Pre-Med.
Lindsey Stephens attended Port Neches-Groves High School where she was involved in National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, Indian Players, UIL One Act Play, Volleyball, Association of Indian Athletes, Junior Rotarian, and maintained a GPA of 4.13. Lindsey was on A/B honor roll through out her high school career and has received many thespian awards. Lindsey plans to attend Lamar University and major in Education.
